The aftermath

That post title is misleading- it makes it seem as though our launch was anything but smooth and successful, and though we did encounter a hiccup here and there, all in all I’d call it a success! Another big thank you to everyone who visited the new site and sent us your feedback- we love to hear it all!

Onto unrelated things…

I subscribe to a ton of magazines: Instyle, Lucky, Vogue, W, Teen Vogue and People Style Watch. Keep all your judgements to yourself for my magazine choices- yes I’m in my 20′s and read Teen Vogue; yes I treat Instyle as somewhat of a manual; and no, I don’t really care for Vogue beyond their beautiful editorials. Back to my point, last night was my monthly magazine reading night- a night where I curl up with tea, a blanket, and my stack of magazines so I can do my best to keep up with the ever-changing fashion industry. It’s a dangerous night, because as I read my magazines, I have my computer open next to me so I can online shop as I go. As always, I came up with a laundry list of dream items/trends that I want to try. It’s time to narrow that down to my “must-have” staple items to get me through the summer and beyond. (I’m very picky and need to start my summer shopping now in order to have a great pair of sandals by August).

Flat Leather Sandals

Adidas by Stella McCartney ShortsStylish Everyday Shorts

Classic Nautical Top

Straw Hat

A dress that can do double duty as a day dress, and can be dressed up for nights out

It’s not until I take a step back and look at my list that I notice the similarities between all of the items! I hope I’m not getting boring in my old age!

Hopefully sharing this list with the internet will keep me from making impulse buys. Keep me honest internet, please!

What about you guys? What are your most coveted items for summer? I’d love to hear!

Until next time…

Kelly
